Below are listed some general guidelines relating to the required formatting and content of the abstract. Carefully prepared abstracts facilitate the review process, as it is easier to judge the quality of presentations that are thoroughly and concisely described.

  • Abstracts must be in English. If English is not the authors’ first language, it is recommended that the abstract should be proofread;
  • Abstracts should contain new material that has not been presented or published prior to the IRCEELT Conferences. Previously presented abstracts will not be eligible for IRCEELT Conferences;
  • Abstracts must be submitted online using online submission form on IRCEELT Conferences website. No fax copies, disks or email submissions will be accepted;
  • An abstract may only be submitted once. Duplicate abstracts (reporting the same data) that are submitted under a different title or author will be vetted and will not be considered;
  • The text of each abstract should consist of no more than 250 words. Do not include your title and author information as part of the abstract body;
  • The title should be brief, clearly indicating the contents of the abstract;
  • Use standard abbreviations and symbols. Keep abbreviations to a minimum and define each one when it is used for the first time. Example: HEA (Higher Education Area), before being used as an abbreviation only. Please, do not define or use abbreviations in the title;
  • Do not include any figures or tables in abstracts, and do not submit attachments, slides, or any reference materials with the abstracts; will be deleted by the editors;
  • Abstract should be written with a standard Microsoft Word document (doc. or docx);
  • Check spelling and grammar, proofread carefully. Choose appropriate thematic areas and topics from the list provided on website. Please ensure you choose your areas and topics in order of relevance;
  • Abstracts cannot be modified (in their authorship, title and contents) after the deadline for abstract submission. If you wish to make any corrections to an already submitted abstract or if you wish to submit other abstracts, you should use contact conference secretariat via email (This email address is being protected from spambots.
